The American
Citizens Services (ACS) Unit assists U.S. citizen parents in
determining whether their children born abroad acquired U.S.
citizenship at birth. The ACS Unit also provides information on the
procedures and documentation necessary to obtain a Consular Report
of Birth Abroad, U.S. Passport and Social Security Number.
