U.S. Embassy Expresses Condolences

For Air Tragedy

SANTO DOMINGO—In commemoration of today’s second anniversary of the American Airlines Flight 587 accident, Hans H. Hertell, U.S. Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, along with all the diplomatic mission personnel, express their condolences to Dominicans and Americans, who were touched in some way by this terrible tragedy.

Today both the U.S. and Dominican people remember the 260 people – Dominican as well as American – who lost their lives onboard AA587.

May they rest in peace and may their loved ones find the strength to carry on.
